Millions of people from around the world watched as the “interpreter” at Nelson Mandela’s funeral signed garble to deaf South Africans. Unfortunately, this is an example of a common occurrence within the Deaf Community. This form of service is highly unacceptable and disrespectful to the d/Deaf Community.
